Delivering plates of treats to every street on our house was one of my favorite Christmas traditions growing up, and I’ve continued it with my own kids. But as they get older our family gets busier AND our list of people to deliver gifts to gets longer…so the time has come to simplify. I came up with two versions of a neighbor/teacher gift for today’s post. The ‘easy version’ is to spend an hour or two baking a couple dozen muffins and divvy them up into sets of four for delivery (I’ll show you how to make a cute basket from a paper plate). The ‘easier version’ dispenses with baking altogether–all you have to do is dress up muffin mix packets with a doily and some baker’s twine. Both options are quick and inexpensive, and either one will be appreciated by the recipients. I’ve created a printable tag and circle label that say “You’re gettin’ muffins for Christmas!”
